How to use wax melts

Never leave a candle or in-use burner unattended.

Simply open the clamshell and remove the wax. Snap off a section (or two, depending on the size of your burner, but please don't overfill it), add a 4-hour tea light underneath, light the wick and wait for the delightful aromas to fill your room.

Once your tealight has burnt out, swap it for another and continue this process until you can no longer smell the scent from the wax in the burner.

The intensity of the fragrance will depend on a few things - the amount of wax used, the room size and the temperature of the room. To ensure best results, keep away from draughts and always close windows in the room when wax is burning.

Once you can no longer smell the fragrance from your wax, simply let it cool and apply gentle pressure on the edge of the wax to push it out. If this doesn't work, add a tea light underneath for around 30 seconds, then apply gentle pressure again. Alternatively, you can melt the wax and use a cotton wool ball or pad to soak up the melted wax and dispose accordingly. Never use a wipe or cleaning chemicals.
